I see that commercial
Reflecting from the set
In your once beautiful eyes
And it reminds me of addiction
It reminds me of starlit script-readings
Where the ends never justifies the means
And I change the channel
While you apply the Chanel
And the smell makes me drunk with lust
It would have been anger but I simply forgot
Point and click… I’m over it
Desperation marks the spot where
The X once held its place on the map
But like I said before
We simply forget
Where was I before all of this?
Before the flicker from a box
Became so hypnotizing
Before life passed us by
Where was I?

Such a haunting poem written with such an
undertone of loss. I don't really know what
else to say except I loved this poem.
