Wings of the Nighttime

Contributed by DanishPoet on Saturday, 12th March 2005 @ 02:15:07 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

As the moon is about to rise above the sea
the passion of the night is about to be.
But this night I'm sleepless and sense no fun
as the only one I love is about to see the sun.

The blue moon is the sign of change
does this mean that love will be within range?
Or will this girl I know leave my sight
and leave me with nothing but fright?

Owl of the midnight,
fly to my girl.
Wings of the nighttime,
tell her she's my world.

this is a beautifully written piece of poetry.
The imagery you cast on your reader is great and the use of your words is good.
A pleasant and enjoyable read

Good poem there I loved it. I kind of feel the
same way a lot of questions but no answers.
I hate feeling like this because the end result
only leads to pain for me. Beautiful poem
though the imagery was really touching.

that is sweet. I hope your girl will fly back to you. I bet she is a lucky girl to have a man that cares so much like you.

Truly heartfelt. Dude, you gotta tell her how you feel. You'll regret it if you don't, trust me I know.
