The heros have left the premises
and I’m left here in the dust
not one has stopped to say he cared
but only that he lusts.
and one by one the heros fall
for none are true at all;
the death of one caused finality,
and none will heed the call
of the damsel in distress; not I.
for I have left her there
to discover all for herself
the heros are not here.

I surprises me that this has no comments,
as this is really good.
I especially love that second stanza, I think it works very well.
Great write,
*hugs* Phil xxx |
