He asked me last night if I would
dance with the Devil
falling into his thirst and need.
But my body feels light and giddy
to which I gladly respect its wishes.
Upon a new found friend
my once beloved kitten
moves on in search of a new home
another warm and lonely heart
to curl up and rest with.
Those needle point claws
and chemical smoke filled nights
are no longer a part of my adventure
only now to surf the highest high
and still remain grounded.
And if I should fall
slowing settleing into myself
once again
I know what the meaning of our meeting was
and graduate with honors
into the next
true phase
of Nardo.
