This EMPTINESS is greater
Than the hole left in my heart
I realize now we'll never be
And it's tearing me apart.
The way you look at her
Is how you looked at me
Is it wrong to say it makes me sick
When that's what I have to see?
This EMPTINESS feels deeper
Than the hole it's meant to fill
As I wondered what went wrong,
All my hopes were thrown

I really liked this... it was really deep. I am sorry you feel this way. The only thing that was distracting was the whole downhill thing. I didn't think that was needed. Poeple always pay attention to the ending themselves... great write...
