The voices of young and old
Whispers of insanity flow through the dark halls,
Leaving me cold
No song, No dance
No music, No smoking
Nurses peek into every room
With their flashlights
Like phantoms of the night
Do I really belong here?
Is there a malfunction in my brain-
Can my family really be right
Is this for real
Am I really insane
Like a rat caught in a maze
I wander down every hall
And they all look the same
At every turn I pray for an open door
Only to find the same dead end
Loosing all hope, I pray
No more
