As we sit, hand in hand,
my physical state is here,
but my subconciosness,
somewhere else,
I'm not here,
I'm gone,
gone to a place,
where we never happened,
a place where I don't feel,
I wish I never would've agreed,
to what bonds us,
when at first we did,
yes, I admit,
I did love you,
A fire burned,
now as time elapsed,
all that's left of that fire is a pile of ashes,
though I know,
that your fire still burns immensely for me,
I can't light it up again,
the fire is gone,
as so am I,
I'm not there with you anymore,
I'm gone.
