Regrets

Contributed by wordpoet on Tuesday, 17th December 2002 @ 01:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

Regrets are for people, who never have tried,
When faced with the truth, was frightened and lied,
They hide all their dreams not daring to fall,
And their life seems to shrink becoming quite small.
So let yourself go and follow your heart,
You can’t reach the end if you don’t even start,
And if you fall down, don’t ever give in,
Just learn from the past, in time you will win.

Oh i completely agree, people shouldnt live with regrets whatsoever...i think people should follow their hearts even if heartache is involved because i know when im old and sittin in my rockin chair i for one want to be able to smile and know i have no regrets in my life, and know that i gave each relationship my all...and know that i followed my heart in life to where i wanted to go....because i have come to realize that i am the writer of my life...and i say what happens in it...and where it goes....thanks for sharing this one wordpoet it's beautiful....and it's one i enjoyed tremendously...

Yes, never give in if you followed your heart.. you can learn and step forward. I like this idea and also agree with OreO.
