Dark Inspirations

(Contributed By Chicken)

Dark inspirations are what come to my mind,
When I lay down my head at night.
I'm not sure if they're ever come to light,
But what comes of the dark inspirations that I don't write?

(Contributed by ginsdance)

Haven't I told you that story a long time ago,
That when you lay down your head at night and evil tilts to and fro,
That if you give into your impulses that you would love to do,
That there will be no difference between Dr. Jekyll and you.
Save yourself the heartache and set it all to paper in pen.
Battle the Hyde inside you, don't commit the darkest sins.

(Contributed by chicken)

So to battle the Hyde within,
I cannot write of my sins?
Or talk of anything I feel,
That evil might reveal?

(Contributed By Oreo)

The only way I know that I could possibly try
Is to listen how angry the ocean's waves cry
This anger the ocean it holds is so deep
It reminds me of everything deep within me

(Contributed by Ginsdance)

Evil may lurk inside your breast,
Locked deep within your chest,
But yet there is good inside you too,
So what does the writing do?
Let you release your hair for a little while,
Let you have some pleasure, and then smile,
Go back into the solemn depths,
Until the goodness in you has had enough of the tests
And the strains put on everyday life,
What is evil, really, in a world full of strife?
Have we been so desensitized by world around,
That we have forgotten what little innocence we found?
By all means write down about evil natures
About dark incantations, impressions on the heart, failures
Of the mind and spirit,
Feeding like vampires on what is within us...
Please share it with the world, let us indulge in the literature
So that when our own impulses rise, serenity in the written word...
That is what we will find.
