Letter to the Angels of Peace

Contributed by Saint_41 on Thursday, 10th March 2005 @ 03:38:24 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

Angels of peace I know that in heaven you weep
As you fight to end the wars on the field.
Which now leave poor children with nothing to eat.
And sometimes sending them to a endless sleep
That punishing young souls so that with death they meet
Because we humans refuse to see the faults that we repeat
Continuously suffering for the repercussions they unleash
That never allowing life to be lived in peace
only to be condemned with the letters RIP (rest in peace)
because we have eyes but refuse to see.

This is a very good poem. First off, it is the complete truth. Too many people see our faults but no one ever do anything about them... if they do... it is only something to where people do not have to put too much effort into doing. Also... I really like how you went deep ino explaining. You had great, intellgent rhymes in the poem too. Keep it writing...
