Lost to the Darkness

Topic: SadPoetry

drown
drown in the silence
lost
lost to the darkness
cry
cry to the heavens
mourn
mourn for the lost soul
flee
flee from the torment
search
search for redemption
hope
hope in tomorrow

I haven't seen your work, prior to this piece, yet if you say you haven't written a poem like this, I think you should more often, because this is fantastic!
I like that you conveyed dark themes throughout the piece, in unison to your title "lost to the darkness", and am pleased to see that there is light (disguised as 'hope') at the end of this dark tunnel.
This piece was thought provoking and intriguing.
It was interesting to see how you had expressed yourself, in regards to your title -'lost to' and not 'lost in' -it says alot...
Like perhaps its temperamental inclination to your situation?
This piece reminded me of the cycle post death.
I loved it... short and sweet!
