Listen to yourself,
and you will see,
all the hurt,
your causing me.
Hear your words,
every word you speak,
is another mark on me,
this has been going on for weeks.
You never think before you talk.
You don't care.
It hurts so much,
and its obvious you don't want me there.
I do everything for you,
and forgive you each time.
But you keep your harsh words,
and drop me like a dime.

| I can see that this poem can really be great. I enjoyed reading it because words are harsh to people who are fragile. But your poem also showed strength and that is why I thought I would post. If you might redo this poem, and give it a little more thought, I would surely read again and will probably smile and say thank you for your write. Been there. One word can usually destroy me. |
