Alcohol drinks you

Topic: toughstuff

Such the quiet type you were
but with wisdom within every word.
School and friends came first
yourself always came in third.
Getting stuck in everything
you need an excape.
You changed your life completely
under the influence of a mistake.
You probably won't feell better in the morning
if you continue to drink yourself to sleep.
Addiction can you feel it?
in your vains it begins to creep.
I miss the way you were so much
and how we used to be.
I miss your gentle touch
and how your soul was always free.
So with my hair formed like a noose
I'll hang you with my thoughts
and remind you of all the pain you caused
and the passion that you lost.
Your no longer a guider
a sister
nor my best friend.
I keep reaching out
but can't find the helping hand you used to lend.
Think about it for a while
think of the good choices you need to make.
or you'll just keep slipping further
with every sip you take.
