FOR YOU GRAN
I thankyou for this honour,
That i was given today.
To pay my respects to gran,
In this very special way.
Her hands were soft and gentle,
Her body slim and small.
Her heart was always open,
To all things big and small.
I hardly saw her angry,
Yelling or upset.
She was almost always happy,
I never will forget.
She cared about those close to her,
Her family and her friends.
And if they ever argued,
She would always make ammends.
She taught us love by simply being,
She gave us insight by always seeing.
She gave us laughter with a smile,
It is an honor being her grandchild.
I'll miss the way she loved us all,
And how she was sincere.
I'll miss her so very much,
But she will always be near.
The time has come to say goodbye,
To let her go, to let her fly.
WE ALL LOVE YOU GRAN.

you brought tears to my eyes with this one simply heartfelt and wonderful. I still miss my grandmother it sounds like you were touched by someone very special thats the best feeling in the world

Firstly let me send my condolescences in regards to your loss.
Secondly, this poem is something to be proud of. It really touched me.
I've found thru the losses i've encountered that we honor the passing by remembering who they are. A eulogy, a poem, a spoken conversation that says I miss you.
You did an amazing job on your poem. I think it is one that so many of us can relate to.
