The things that were broken and could not be fixed

Nothing can be fixed...
Everything is broken.
The clocks are all stopped at different times.
There are dolls with no eye's.
Bears with the stuffing coming out.
Magic 8 balls that tell only lies.
Everything is broken here...
The wind up cars have no wheels (or can no longer wind.)
The ABC blocks are missing letters...
There are dozens of puzzle pieces no one can find...
The pocket watches run backwards and the compasses don't point north...
Find batteries, or a repair man...doesn't matter...they still wouldn't work.
The doll houses have broken windows as though evaded by some small vandal.
The story books are missing pages.
There are dozens of shoes...and dozens of heels, boots and sandals.
They all are left footed, and haven't been worn in ages.
Everything is broken here...
Nothing can be fixed.
The man who owned it long ago got up and went away.
He left it in shambles, he left it broken.
He left saying it could be mended...he'd find a way.
He hasn't been back since then...
Some people thought he'd passed away.
Some of us are holding onto the hope....
That he wouldn't leave things this way...
That he wouldn't leave us so broken.

Your creativity is amazing. If you wrote a mystery, I would surely buy it. I think you should consider it. Someone could help you through it, like a ghost writer :) excuse the pun. Reading some of your stuff really tells me that I could see you on the book stands somewhere in time. Consider it, what would you have to lose. |
