...and good intentions i had my share and nights filled with blank stares. and empty words that fell too short of anything close to what was in my heart. and "love you's" rang off these lips of cheap wine and never near knowing what those words would find. and hopelessly hoping on every new smile that id be recieved not exchanged in short while. but still this tired town fights on like a beaten soldier, and only knows heartache from every turned shoulder, and only knew fire once ashes were smouldered
