Scattered memories of times now lost
A mourning family that fell apart
Photos of faces that I hardly knew
Collecting tears for a broken heart
Death is such a lonely thing
You tell me "alone" is how you feel
Family fights over things you owned
You can't believe this is real
I feel you with me, I know you're here
I'm where you place your trust
Crossing over is the hardest part
I know you can't, but you must
I'll miss you always, as I do
Though I barely even knew your face
In my heart, you can trust to be
A winged angel under grace...
