Man She Once Trusted

Her heart was broken,
she didn’t think it would be able to heal.
This feeling of love,
she never again wanted to feel.
How could he do this to her,
she didn’t understand.
With all of her heart and soul,
she trusted this man.
She was angry,
she wanted him to die.
Day and night,
all she did was cry.
He walked out on her,
but why, what for?
Could he not take responsibility,
did he not love her anymore?
So she sits in confusion,
still sad, still mad.
This guy she once trusted,
didn’t deserve the name dad.
