Immortal Thoughts

A thought wafts gently through the shadows
Buffeted by the air as a cold wind blows
Origins obscured by the finality of death,
Yet refusing to die, though bereft of breath
Owned no longer, orphaned and alone,
Holding on to cohesion, minus flesh and bone
Patient through the ages it waits, it burns
Originality is a myth, an idea returns
Another living being shall think it and then
From beyond the grave, the thought shall live again

That's a good question, where do our thoughts and idea's go when we die....i wouldn't have a clue...sheesh i don't even think anyone i'v'e ever known has brought up such a good question as that one....this poem of immortal thoughts is written with beautiful depth....i enjoyed reading it alot...it gives one alot to think about and the visions it gives are....unique shall i say...i really like the last lines where it says Another living being shall think it and then From beyond the grave, the thought shall live again.....absolutely beautiful...
