Hold Me
Hold me in your arms
And never let me go
Never let me see the monsters
That hurt people so
Whisper in my ear
How much you love me
That you’ll never let my heart cry
Us forever is what you see
Will you please
Protect from harm ?
And would you please
Keep my insides warm ?
The world is sometimes mean
And can make me feel small
Then can you swoop me in your arms
And break this invisible wall ?
Surround yourself with all of me
And in return I’ll give you my love
To have and to cherish
And to thank the heavens above
I need a shoulder
To cry away my pains
I need a man
Who’s love will flow in my veins
A man who’ll
Love me till the end
Even when he learns more about me
His heart will never bend
Hold me please
In your arms
Before it all disappears
That is my charms
I really do love you
I hope you feel the same way
Because only you can make me survive
The selfish games life plays.
