For I am the words of Poetry
I will take part in the feeding and growing of your soul
My power over you takes hold
Whether my content is REVOLUTION
Or it's filled with loves illusion
I may be filled with prejudice or hate
Politics or debates
Our Plight
Our Might
Our ability to create
I display BEAUTY
In all sizes forms and shapes
I AM WHO WRITES ME
I BECOME MANY WITH EACH VERSE
I AM THE WORDS OF POETRY
I
INTENSIFY
Provide Stimuli
I can give IMACULATE descriptions
Of Love making and or positions
I can be subtle
I can be raw rough and nasty
REGARDLESS
Of what you think of me
For I AM THE WORDS OF POETRY
I LET IT FLOW AS IT COMES TO ME
Remarks of Dislike
For the different types
Of ways
My words hit the page
IT'S TOO VULGAR
IT'S TOO OFFENSIVE
None of these comments will have me on the defensive
I AM WHO WRITES ME
I BECOME MANY WITH EACH VERSE
I may not come how you desire
Or inside you
I may ignite the fire
TO REBEL
TO LOVE
TO NEED
TO LEAVE
TO WANT
TO CRY
To incite the right to riot
To invoke change
To keep your soul from being quiet
FOR I AM THE WORDS OF POETRY
I LET IT FLOW AS IT COMES TO ME
