When you're going through times that aren't so easy, and i know how you feel.
You think that i'm just saying that i'm just saying that because it is pleasing, but i am for real.
I understand how it is to be stuck in a spot, that you want to get out of quick.
When you know where you're going but you aren't moving, the feeling just makes you sick.
But you blow things out of porportion, and make me look like the bad guy.
I am just understanding from my point of view, i see this in my mind.
You may not believe me when i say that i totally understand what you're going through.
But that doesn't matter to me when i know i understand and i am being true.
There is just one thing that i don't completely understand.
And that is why you hate me so much when i try to lend a hand.
I give you advice and you just always push me away from you.
I am your friend and i'm supposed to help you get straight through.
I guess i've been convicted of trying to help out my friend.
I'm guilty as charged for understanding and i'll do time for what i did.
But let me at least tell you one thing, it's that i truley care.
Lost a friend for understanding that doesn't really seem fair.....

Self-pity is a crushing existance and it sounds like your friend isn't ready to accept your help/advice. It's just like that sometimes. Nice poem - well said. Tiffany J. |
