Will We Meet Again?

When I think about life,
And how it will end,
I can’t help, but wonder,
Will we meet again?

I look at my family,
So precious and dear,
Not one would I trade,
Of that, I am clear.

I look at my friends,
Both distant and close,
They’re special to me,
Just how much, the Lord only knows.

I look at the faces,
That I meet on the street,
With just a word or a smile,
Is the way that we greet.

When I think about life,
And how it will end,
I can’t help, but wonder,
Will we meet again?

Which leads me to question,
And to check myself.
Have I done all I can?
Have I been a help?

Is my life a witness
To those that are in need?
Have I shared my faith
So that others might believe?

Have I done my best
To spread God’s love?
Have I helped any lives
To reach Heaven above?

When I think about life,
And how it will end,
I can’t help, but wonder,
Will we meet again?

Interesting topic, rather refreshing, nice wrap up too!
