13 roses

Topic: LovePoetry

you called
i picked up the phone
we talked for hours
bout nothing at all

we got into a fight
you said you were sorry
that you loved me
and asked me to marry you

i was out of words
could this be
the one i loved
the one i couldnt live w/out

was telling me all the things
that i felt for him
this is crazy
wat should i do

as i try to breathe steady
i think fast
telling im i love him too
but i couldnt marry him

he told me i hurt him
that we were meant
to be together
and he was gonna prove it

he came over the next day
looking good as ever
holding roses
exactly 13

13
i asked him why
"one was fake"
he answered

he gave them to me
told me that he would
stop loving me
wen the last pedal dropped

opened a little black box
a simple
yet elegent
ring was inside

he said
"i need 2 be w/ you"
i said i felt the same
"marry me"

i kissed him softly
and said "yes"
he smiled big
he looked so happy

im happy
hes happy
we're in love
i couldnt live w/out him
