The Mistress stood quietly at her window,
A soft, frosty sigh had rushed from her
Rain, as clear as crystal fell heavily outside,
So, she was confined to the inside for the day
Sadly she wont be able to flash her prized earrings
She went and sat on her leather upholstered stool,
Which was placed in front of her oak vanity
The Mistress looked at her young reflection
In her mind she knew she was lovely, & indeed she was
And she smiled at herself for being blessed
Fahren noticed her hair, was the color of crushed cranberries
Her eyes are on otherworldly green, glowing like emeralds
A face she had, so perfect, like is was sculpted by angels
With a skin tone so slightly tanned
Lastly, she has flawlessly shaped lips, like the shade of a red rose
It was almost as Mother Nature had heard her sigh,
And abruptly, the rain had stopped
The sun emerged from its cloudy hiding place,
It’s sizzling rays warming all that was wet
The Mistress gathered herself to the window, and she silently celebrated
At last! I do have time to show the high-class woman my earrings
She rushed to her big wardrobe to contemplate on what to wear
Out of her wide range of glamorous clothing,
She did eventually come to a decision
Fahren called in her handmaidens & they began to prepare her
Now she looked prim & proper,
Dressed in a scarlet, silk corset with a black draped sleeve shirt underneath
She jumped into a flowing, loose jet-black skirt,
And laced up her high-heeled brown boots
A long stride took her out the door and she headed into town
The deserted dirt road let all the way into the town
There, her eyes landed on her favorite group of gossiping friends
Oh! Fahren! Have I got something to tell you!! Exclaimed Chalice
The biggest bit of secrets & scandals yet! Fahren though
Chalice always knew what was happening, both seeing and hearing it
Fahren tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear,
It was then Chalice took great notice
Fahren’s earrings, a swinging wonder of red garnets & golden topazes
Those earrings possessed the shape of a pleasant cross
A cross, bedecked with those handsome jewels
Everyone just loved my earrings,
They seemed to captivate & blind those with spite
Fahren enjoyed being a woman of class,
Class & everlasting beauty
This is the Mistress Fahren
