This night I feel my exciting life much more
I let this blade battle my skin once before
It won, the skin it tore...
The blood it soar...
Please? No, no thank you... not once more
Inside, unexposed must remain the blood, the gore
But scars I find remind I of what crime and what for
Did not a sinless man die for us, for me, before?
So that I wouldn't have to feel the skin that tore
Or the pain that it caused, anymore
Yes! I do not need this knife anymore
And I need this bandage never evermore
