The Unknown Poem
I remember a place,
Where the robins used to sing.
The deer ran across the grass,
And the church bells would ring.
Oh, how I used to smile,
As the rabbits hopped two and frow.
I would love the way the crickets chirp,
And the "cawwing" of the crows.
And how I used to laugh,
While running with the horses.
There couldn't of something more fun,
There couldn't of been more positive forces.
But now these days have changed,
All the horses died.
I still don't understand the hunting of deer,
I still never asked why.
No more robins sing,
And no more rabbits jump.
And the trees in the forest,
Have become nothing but stumps.
I lost my joyfull laughter,
And my smile is now a frown.
And the church has been destroyed,
For the building of a town.
Now I've remained in the darkness,
In the corner of this room.
My life is filled with sorrow,
I cause nothing but shear doom.
I now hate everything,
And those crickets just annoy.
My life is filled with fear.
I can no longer feel joy.
I once thought I could change,
And live a good life.
But I don't think that any more,
As I hold this knife.
I have tears drop from my face,
They fall to the floor.
My life can never change,
My heart has been tore.
Blood dripping from this knife,
Doesn't even hurt.
I don't deserve to be in this world,
I should be 6 feet under dirt.
I can't feel the pain,
No matter how much I bleed.
My blood is so red,
Death is what I need.
I need to leave this world,
But no matter how hard I try.
These cuts will never hurt,
And I'll never die.
