N is for bringing in the new,
a time we celebrate,
which most people often do,
Jan. 1 is usually the date,

E is for eternal years
that closely follow 2003
give a kiss and cry no tears
Celebrate this new year with me

Chicken

W is for asking why?
Why time has to so quickly pass.
It's for asking why we never cry,
And why is this year different from the last?

Y is for the year that's past
We never ever should look back
But hopefully this year to come
Will bring us just a little more fun

E stands for each new day
That can be spent whichever way
We desire and so choose
How they're enjoyed is up to you

A is for the anticipation till midnight,
waiting for that ball to fall,
hoping this year everything will be all right,
Wanting that snow to thaw,

R is for santa's reindeer
Please watch them where they go
Santa don't know how to steer
Who they'll run over, who knows??
