The Lighthouse

Contributed by spooky on Monday, 16th December 2002 @ 10:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

A lighthouse is a symbol of protection,,
It guidesships away from being injured,,
But a lighthouse has a second purpose,,
It guides people, to show them which way to go,,
without being hurt,,but sometimes the lighthouse is out and we get hurt,,
the lighthouse serves it's purpoes to us,,,

I thought my dreams were different and
I was wrong,,when i first meet you,,
you were different,and I didn't understand why,,
but the lighthouse showed me that you were the same,,ambitions , dreams, and goals,,

I know nothing is impossible,,
at least I know this,,
If anything ever happened to me,
the lighthouse will live on in you,,
don't let anyone or anything turn the
lighthouse off,,

for all your dreams live on the love of the
lighthouse,,
If anything,, make it brighter for all to see,,
that they may have dreams as we did,,
cherish the thought,,
That nothing is impossible,,

for a little lighthouse burns in everybody's
Heart,,,,,,,Remember me always,,,,
