Damage You Caused

They seem to run to me
Like moths to a flame
Am I popular? Could it be?
Had something happened? Was i to blame?

The I remembered what I had done
WHAT HAD I DONE?
Did I use a knife? A gun?
Then I remembered exactly what I had done...

Thursday
Broken in the cruelest way
Pulled and twisted was the knife in my back
After you had had a quick go in the sack

So I decided to show you
The damage you could do
The pain you brought me
But to you it brought glee

Here I am
There you stand
In my heart a knife
To end my worthless life...

I truly believe that if you wrote this poem on a different day or at a different time with more thought and passion, this would be a masterpiece. I see the potential. I seek poems like yours. So keep on writing. You would be surprised in the second writing, how powerful it could be. Thanks for sharing.
