MOTHERS LOVE

Contributed by sweetangeluk on Sunday, 6th March 2005 @ 10:09:30 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Gently I place a bouquet by your side
Loving memories of a love not died
You are the wind that touches my face
An ocean of tears fall on pillows of lace

In your warm embrace I long to be
Swept on a wave towards the sea
In the mirror your reflection cries
For in myself I see your loving eyes

Eyes so kind so warm and true
Like crystal glass suffused with blue
In heaven angels wings hold you tight
Mother I miss you my leading light

Candles are lit to honour your name
A photo of you beside the flame
Why oh why will my tears not heal
The love I have lost feelings surreal

I love you mum and miss you so very much

Beautiful, i bought flowers mothers day to put on mums grave. To be honest it went through my head this is pointless cause she aint here anymore... then i reflected and realised she will always be with me.

What a beautiful tribute to the dearest peron that one can ever know. A Mother.
I feel with you on this Sweet Angel. I never knew my Mother she passed away when I was three. I still ask why. Love from bernard.

This is only my third time reading one of your writes, and i must say i LOVE your choice of words. It all comes together so well. However if i lost my Mother... i can't even say what i'd do..i'd lose my mind. A Mother's love lasts forever though. even after life. I'm so sorry for your loss. This makes me open my eyes a bit wider.. because me and my mom argue on a daily basis. It's time that stopped. Thanks for your inspiring poem. Much love.

That was a great dedication. I know how you feel my own mom passing away a year and some months ago. I hope you are getting through. I don't think she would want you to mourn forvevr.
