There’s a time in the day
When all I feel is sadness
There’s a moment in the night
When I'm broken and weak
My soul enjoys no gladness
There always comes a time
While I frantically try to sleep
My dreams even appear bleak
Unable to close these eyes
Because my heart won’t recover
Intense tears is all I reap
I break down again today
It doesn’t help when I cry
For the saddest part of my day
Is thinking of you
And how I never said goodbye
