I am dead and gone now
I did this to myself
I cut, I drank, I didn’t care
I put my life through hell
All the while I watched you
Doing the same thing
Before you turn away
Listen to the message I bring
It is lonely over here
Worse than you will ever dream
Smile once in awhile
It will boost your self-esteem
Do the things I didn’t do
A little goes a long way
Look on the bright side
And don’t listen to what they say
I wish I could’ve known sooner
Before I wasted away
I felt stupid, worthless
Unloved, alone and betrayed
I couldn’t see God clearly
But now the chance is gone
I just pray that you will do right
All that I did wrong
The pleasure you get from cutting
Is worthless over Here
Think ahead before you’re dead
Is life as bad as it appears?
Time will heal the wound that bleeds
Give it a second chance
Give your live a meaning
Before giving it a passing glance
It feels so much better
To let someone take your pain
But a person just can’t handle that
Though they try in vain
You want to feel protected
You want to be loved like I did
Clear you mind from the bruises and lies
And just trust in Him
I love you so much my friend
You know I always have
So why did you feel so unloved?
Were you going mad?
But no, I cannot judge you
I would be a hypocrite
Just remember that life is
Whatever you make it
I need to go now
I cannot stay here for long
Though my time is passed
I pray you will be strong
I tell you this so listen
I’ll say a prayer for you
I hope that you will find happiness
In whatever you choose to do
