Wings of blue
my love is for you
your Sapphire eyes
makes me sigh
Your soft and gentle
Your smile is warm
you've cared for me
since you were born
someday you'll fly away
but till that day
I'll love you so
then I'll watch you go
melt into the sky
when you fly so high
Wings of blue
I'll always love you

| this reminded me of Kips poem from Napoleon Dynamite. I am not one for rhyming, but this was pretty good, for a rhyming poem. anyway, keep up the good work. |

This was a good poem. The only part that is weird is this...
Your soft and gentle
Your smile is warm
you've cared for me
since you were born
You were doing couplet rhymes until the middle and then switched. It would have been better if you were to have kept to the rhyming couplets. But all around it was a great poem...
