I sit here by the tree
And remember what you did to me
You took away the old me
The brave, confident Claire
I sit here by the tree
And remember what you did to me
You took away the old me
You took away laughter and replaced with tears
I sit here by the tree
And remember what you did to me
You took away the old me
You got away with it but you still have the guilt
I sit here by the tree
And remember what you did to me
You took away the old me
You took away my childhood
I sit here by the tree
And remember what you did to me
You took away the old me
You took away the girl I used to be,
Oh how I want her back

I sincerely hope that this person who stole you didn't get away with this forever... I hope that you rediscovered yourself and found that that person never had you to begin with- it was only an illusion created by emotion.
