Dinah
She sits, like a comfortable couch
Relaxing, calm
She speaks of days
days long ago forgotten,
days of glory
She looks into your eyes
The years, you think,
have bode her well
You see within,
her wit, her charm,
her stamina
She laughs
and with transparent hands
tells of another journey
you sit and listen
and look and learn
and hope
hope that someday
you will be 85 as well.
Carol

This is indeed beautiful. Quiet, thoughtful, inspiring.
I am rather glad to have read it.
