I stopped smiling today
It happened so fast
I couldn't even say
What I planned.
I stopped putting up a stupid grin
In hopes of you noticing me.
Today, I went back
And retraced my steps of misery
Which I know every bump and curve of by now.
My fleshy fingers
Are now just bones
I don't care anymore
Do what you like to me
I can go no further under.
I dip them in my own blood
And paint the picture on your bedpost.
It's just a smile
That's carved in red
Lying there on your stained sheets
You will see me tonight
When finally you return home
And What will you do?
