She sat in the shadows quiet, alone
Her name always seemed to remain unknown
Hiding from the pain though it was inside,
So she hid in the dark and cried and cried.
Her sorrow had damaged her soul so deep
Nightmares they haunted till’ she couldn’t sleep
Whaling a warning of death through banshee.
Her feelings inside begged to be set free,
Unbearable anguish cried to release
She wished the anger and hurt would decrease
Though her feelings she just can’t explain.
She’s no longer able to tolerate pain,
I can’t take it any more she shrilly screams
When will I wake from this horrible dream?
