In the end, its Nature who laughs

Sun light warms the Siren shores
the beautiful place where birds sing.
Petals upon petals forming prism light
a congress of colors, if you will.
The great city of Emerald's frown upon her breasts
heaving hills in luscious Greens
not even these colors exist over the rainbow.
The Ocean's belly rumbles
as she purges the creatures from her gut
the water way of life as they reach the shore
and plant a seed
the Seed of Life
to Grow and GRow and GROw and GROW.
This is the place where Nature takes back
what is rightfully Hers.
The Land
The Water
The Sky
now birds of prey to the human race
in our venomous Midas Touch
our search for Earth's wealthy blood
and to imprison the land in a concrete
straight jacket.

Loved all the things you had to say here. Humans are so unkind to our Mother Earth. I am ashamed. I wish more folks thought about these things. Glad you are one of the folks that do. Much peace. Laura |
