Lifepoems

So I stand here surrounded and engulfed by the air,
as time flickers by without a minute to spare,
And what is it doing as it runs figure eights,
while ensuring the doom of those it creates,
time fools us as it never gets where its going,
like fresh rivers never stopping to an ocean still flowing,
We walk where we want yet we get nowhere,
our bodies simply moving to displace the air,
still stuck on a carousel rounding the sun,
since placing us here where life first begun,
the seats we surround are just vast broken rocks,
just riding the hands of times endless clock,
So confined here I breathe everyone elses breath,
it might be a little easier if we all just face death,
and look it in the eyes and let god decide,
when it is time to end our carousel ride.
