  Social

Money

Contributed by thepos on Thursday, 3rd March 2005 @ 11:06:18 PM in AEST
Topic: political

The government,
That's what we all are slaves to.
Can you tell me why,
We always listen to the internal revenue?
In the world that we live in,
The world that's in slumber,
Everyone in America,
Has a social security number.
The most important thing of all,
That has lead us into war.
Money, money, money,
No matter what I want more!

chorus:

Money!
That's what causes murder,
That's what brings us up,
That's what brings us down!
Cash!
I need more,
I want all,
I want the expensive crown!

Over 1 million people starve to death in New York,
Because they can't afford to survive in our nation.
While 5 billion dollars are spent from the american government,
To build bombs that destroy all of god's creations.
Civil rights will never happen,
The 13th and 14th amendments are bull *****, we still pay taxes.
Capitalism has gave us no time to hate others,
While businessmen are being payed for sending faxes.

(chorus)

I can buy myself a brand new car,
I can buy myself a hotel.
I can buy my way into heaven,
Buy my way out of hell.
It depends on how much money,
How much money you own.
Hell, you have good credit and money?
The government will put you on a ***** loan!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
