Underneath the pretty face,
and perfect girl,
lay deep secrets,
and dark lies.
Nights of crying,
and days of cutting.
Look at her arms,
and you'll see,
one small slice,
for every tear cried.
She hurts more then she shows,
and cares more then you see.
Her eyes swell with tears,
but she doesn't dare cry.
You see her smile,
and believe everythings okay.
Next time,
look deeper then the smile,
and beneath the glistening eyes,
and you'll see the broken girl.
