oops

In my past I was a tree,
Alone in a vast land.
Tall and Sad, Dry and Lonely.
In my dreams I am a penguin,
Trying to fly but only fall.
Someday maybe I shall swim.
In my childhood I was a dog,
Fed but not cared for,
Alone and waiting.
In my family I am a T.V.
Always being watched,
But never any good.
In the mirror I am a hurt child,
Looking up at the world,
With these hollow and sad eyes.
In the future I'll be a tear,
Some one will care for only a moment,
Then I'll roll down the cheek and be forgotten.
