Walkin A Changing Path

Many a miles walked.
Many a battles fought.
Yet in all he time I've walked this earth.
I've never see the path I've lost.
Losing all I seemed to be.
I fade into a shadow of the younger me.
Shadows arise and my character subsides.
Only to give way to the real path of my thoughts.
