Earthquakes tremble in harbored regret
Impossible to contain, this unseen pressure
Lies in force beneath the surface of serenity
It was unexpected, certainly so,
It seemed like such a perfect day
And we gaze into the canyon,
The depths of despair now
That are revealed
In ragged edged exclamation
(how could you not know this pain)
...how could you not know...

Truth cries out. I can feel this is real.
I give a 5 out of 5 for its effectiveness.
As a poem, on a whole 3 and a half/4 stars, but i wont go into that because i like how it makes me feel. |
