Look around
What do you see?
Sex, drugs, and broken familes.
What happen to the good old days?
No rape
No murder
Just laugh have fun and be care free.
Everyone stop and see
Just how your world is today
People dieing in each and every way
Even babies don't see the light of day.
All the pain and sorrow
Never makes a new tomorrow
Give it up and feel the love
Then maybe we can see the glass "half full."

Interesting perspective.
But perhaps its because of our increased sense of morality that we strive for utopia, and neglect the progress of the past in general nostalgic predelictions. We are the new Romans.
