Destination unknown, As I set out today,
Alone by myself, I’m set on my way.
A quiet little place
With no one around.
Just my Bible and I,
To sit on the ground.
Peaceful moments of prayer,
With a tear in my eye.
Away from the hassle,
From the world close by.
Alone with my Lord,
My wish for the day,
That every one would take,
Time like this to pray.

I normally don't think alot of religious poems make alot of sense and normally they don't reach out and say much to me, but this is beautiful Jeff, thanks for sharing it, somehow it reached out and pulled me into it. Maybe i should think about that lol...Keep em' coming...

| very nice poem. It makes me stop to think about what I am going through righ now. it is almost like you are sending the world a request to pray for the soldiers that are overseas. |
