we've lost the battle
they've won the war
the game is over
yet we're asking for more
we stand with our hands
in our pockets
our sights straight ahead
we're not giving up
till we've made our last stand
they laugh and they mock
and say "what do you have left?"
and we respond with bloodied hands
"why, the best we've got."
