A Smile on the Horizon

Contributed by Onslaught on Wednesday, 2nd March 2005 @ 03:17:58 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

I知 Lonely around people
But I知 not and will not be corrupted
I知 all alone around people
But I知 not without empathy
But don稚 flatter yourselves
Its not because of you
That I feel this way
Even if I lived
My whole life
Up until now
Within a total vacuum
I still would be the same
I知 living life in solitude for now
I just need some time to think
But I知 not confused
I know what I want
I know how I feel
I知 not inspired by anything
That life has to offer
But I am unafraid
I am unafraid
I知 not depressed
Not Hardly
I feel fine
Because I see a smile on the horizon
Just as sure as I am smiling now
I will always be doing right
I am happy, unfazed
By all the wrong around me
No matter how trivial
That may seem to you
Even when I see how happy
All the wrong you do makes you
I know you池e sad and pathetic
Even though you池e still smiling
But my smile will always mean more
Because I never had to steal mine
From somebody else
I never had to learn the hard way
I always knew what I had to do
No worries
I see a smile on the horizon

This felt a little confrontational from someone as peaceful as you. Remember to have love for all, and remember too, that none are sad and pathetic as those who judge others to be thus....

Yeah and "In order to get out of a box, you must first get in it." - Mr. Furious. I really hate circular reasoning, such as that mjgrl5. (Ps. thanks to the movie "Mystery Men" for that smart ass quote, so I could be rude. Thanks Ben Stiller.)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ツゥ
