LIFE OF A THUG

Contributed by THUGGIN4REAL on Wednesday, 2nd March 2005 @ 01:44:18 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

HEIR TO THE THRONE
THE STREETS ARE MY HOME
MY QUEEN IS BEAUTIFUL
SHE IS MADE OUTTA CHROME
BORN TO BE A KING
SO I'M ALWAYS READY FOR WAR
I HIT HARDER THAN A BANG AT THE DOOR
NEVER HAD TO KILL
BUT DON'T PUSH ME TO THAT POINT
CAUSE PLEASE BELIEVE I WILL
MY MAIN HOMIE IS MY HEART
I CAN'T TRUST THE REST OF ME
BECAUSE I'VE FALLEN APART
I REFUSE TO LOSE WHAT I HAVE LEFT
SO IF YOU PLAN ON TAKING ME OUT
YOU BETTER AIM FOR MY CHEST
IF YOU DON'T SUCCEED
MY ONLY ADVICE WOULD BE
NOT TO REST
I CHOSE THIS LIFE
LIKE A MAN WOULD CHOOSE HIS WIFE
I DON'T TAKE IT FOR GRANTED
CAUSE I'VE ALREADY FELT THE EDGE OF THE KNIFE
THE PAIN IS ONLY TEMPORARY
BUT ITS NOTHING NICE
I WON'T LIVE FOREVER
CAUSE I'VE ALREADY DIED TWICE
WHEN I SLEEP
I DREAM OF MY DEATH
I KNOW HOW I DIE
CAUSE BEFORE IT HAPPENS
I OPEN MY EYES
TWENTY-FIVE YEARS
THATS HOW LONG GOD HAS KEPT ME ALIVE
SOMETIMES I ASKED HIM
"WHY DO YOU ALLOW ME TO STRIVE?"
BUT BEFORE I LEAVE THIS EARTH
AND THE SHOVEL HITS THE DIRT
TAKE THIS FOR WHAT ITS WORTH
CAUSE YOU HAVEN'T
SEEN OR HEARD NOTHING YET
WAIT UNTIL
THE REBIRTH

WOW... you been there and know all about it. So go into the world and try to help it. Spread God done for you and continue on.Only you know how it was and how it is. but now you know another life and that is with GOD. soo take what was the past and use it to help. God takes the bad what the devil does and turns it into good for him. oh how he has changed me and continues. hope he never gives up on me. oh how he has changed my dad.. but testimony's have to be lived through in order to spread god's love. Love your poetry.

Hmnnn. I like some of your rhymes here.

"AND THE SHOVEL HITS THE DIRT
TAKE THIS FOR WHAT ITS WORTH
CAUSE YOU HAVEN'T
SEEN OR HEARD NOTHING YET"

Not bad. But punch off the CAPSLOCK next time, huh?
